BTEC National Extended Diploma - Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development - Practice and Theory

This two year course builds on the knowledge and skills needed for working with children and young people from birth to age 19. This is a competency based qualification requiring students to achieve 700 hours in a work placement. Health and wellbeing, learning and development Speech, language and communications skills Learners will also complete the Level 2 Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development: Core Qualification alongside this qualification.
