About the program
The University of Massachusetts offers Engineering Undeclared for those students who want to be an engineer but haven’t yet chosen a discipline. The first-year curriculum for most engineering majors is very similar, which allows students some time before declaring. However, to be able to complete an engineering degree within 4 years, they should plan to declare their major as soon as possible (and no later than the third semester).
