About the program
Philosophy is about the power of ideas — to change people, and to change the world. Thinking, understanding, and asking the big questions. Demanding answers. Challenging common sense and popular opinions. Which claims are true, which are false? What is truth, or falsity? Is there a God? How is the mind related to the body? What should one do with their life? What does a just society look like? What are the limits of scientific knowledge? What can money not buy? Students study philosophy if they wonder about questions like these.
